Resistance, Deception and Betrayal in Occupied France
Patrick Marnham
After the publication of his earlier biography of French Resistance leader Jean Moulin, Patrick Marnham was given an anonymous tip-off by an ex-intelligence officer with direct experience of the events described. This book derives from his ensuing research in British and French archives, where he explored possible connections between Moulin’s betrayal, along with colleagues at Caluire on 21 June 1943, and the unmasking and subsequent destruction of the SOE network PROSPER.
