Andrew Clark Among Magrath’s collection of documents and notes which ‘serve naturally as appendices to Wood’s autobiographical remains’ are papers connected with the libel suit Clarendon v. Wood (1692–3) in the University Court, notes concerning the 17th-century repairs to St Mary’s steeple, and a catalogue of MS authorities used by Wood in his treatises on Oxford. First published in 1903, this volume was reprinted in 1999. No jacket. Slightly off-mint.
