Postscript description
Within the heritage railway community, there is a growing awareness of the historical significance of the diesel locomotive. In this full colour illustrated album, the reader is guided through the trials and tribulations of operating such locomotives on the Spa Valley Railway, a leading heritage line in East Sussex. Resident and visiting locomotives of all shapes and sizes from the humble yard shunter to the mighty express locomotive are illustrated, with close up views of the interior of driving cabs and engine room layouts adding to the variety and interest.
