Taken from publications such as The Bystander, The Sketch and The Humorist, these drawings (c.1912–1939) bring together some of his favourite subjects – golf, motoring, winter sports, holidays and courting – all brilliantly observed, however surreal the scenario, and featuring the occasional gadget. Edited, with an introduction by Geoffrey Beare.
