Dublin

A Writer's City

New Hardback Illustrated

Postscript summary

On arriving in Dublin in the mid 1980s Chris Morash was struck by how quickly he began to associate particular buildings, streets and vistas with writers. The inspiration for what became the Imagining Cities series, his illustrated volume explores the city’s streets, recording their history and place in literature to create a sense of how ‘literary memory’ gives Dublin its character.
