Crime and the Art Market
In this study, Riah Pryor, a former researcher for New Scotland Yard’s Art and Antiquities Unit, examines criminal activity linked to the art market and considers how far the market, with its culture of secretive practice and huge financial transactions, is itself responsible for accommodating art crime.
