These iconic images from photographic agency Magnum span more than 80 years and reflect diverse aspects of life in London, from red buses and the excited crowd watching the 1937 coronation parade to a tranquil morning swim in Hampstead in 2014. A Puzzling Colour by Numbers Book

Charles Paine: Art for London Transport
In the early 1920s, Charles Paine (1895–1967) designed iconic posters for the London Underground and the tram service. These semi-matt notecards feature reproductions of the illustrations from posters for the Zoo, Kingston, Hampton Court and Hampstead Heath, which are now in the London Transport Museum’s collection. 20 blank notecards with white envelopes.

Albion's Glorious Ile
The Shyres of England & Wales in IV Volumes
Each of these four volumes begins with verses from Poly-Olbion – a 17th-century poem by Michael Drayton – accompanied by black-and-white maps of the various regions of England, showing geographical features represented by gods, nymphs and faeries. These are colouring books, but not in the contemporary sense: the black-line images should be carefully washed over with watercolours, according to cartographic tradition. Slipcased.
RHS Peonies and Butterflies Postcards
Presented in a sturdy, drawer-type box, these large postcards (160x115mm) feature 30 different designs based on illustrations in the RHS Lindley Library. While most of the postcards depict two or more peonies in shades of white, pink and red and a variety of butterflies, a few have an all-over design of smaller flowers and butterflies.
Based on a design by Molly McGrath, whose inspirations are the geometry, colours and curves of Moroccan architecture, this notebook has a black, laser-cut board forming a lattice over the vivid pink, orange and pale-green cover. The 128 pages are lined in neon orange, with orange endpapers and decoration at the foot of each page.
