Profiles of Flight: British Aerospace Hawk
Sorry, this item is now out of stock.
Designed primarily as a training aircraft, the Hawk first entered service for the RAF in 1976. It has been a successful export for British Aerospace but is best known as the agile jet of the Red Arrows display team. This review includes a succinct history of the plane's design, development and deployment, an account of the RAF training syllabus and 18 detailed colour profile illustrations of various models in different operational liveries. (Some material first published in Noble Endeavours, 1998.)
