This is the second volume of the longer Benedictine catalogues (following Dover Priory). A remarkable range of evidence for the library at Peterborough survives: the largest catalogue, the so-called Matricularium, lists some 1900 titles in nearly 350 volumes. This complex document is presented here (in Latin), with the editors' introduction and indexes of incipits, manuscripts, authors and anonymous works. Cellophane jacket.
