Reproduced as a book of postcards, this is an A–Z of decorated initials, each one set within foliate or abstract ornaments, often with miniatures of animals or people within the letters. The initials are from medieval manuscripts in the Bodleian Library’s collection and are introduced by Professor Michelle Brown of the University of London.
