D-Day to Victory
Available in Stock
From D-Day on the Normandy beaches until April 1945, Tank Commander Trevor Greenwoood of C Squadron, 9th Royal Tank Regiment, kept a diary of his experiences on the final push through France and into Germany. Under fire, out-gunned and facing a bitter winter, he never loses his moral compass or sense of humour and always finds time for a 'brew-up'. His diaries are edited here by SV Partington and published in association with the Imperial War Museum.
