British Tramway Accidents
Available in Stock
Frank E Wilson was a tramway and railway engineer, who wrote on technical aspects of trams; his work on tram accidents was unfinished when he died in 1975. Edited and completed by GB Claydon, who provides a chapter on the administrative and legal background, the book covers over 60 accidents between 1874 and 1959, describing and providing expert engineering commentary on each event. It is illustrated with archive photographs, line drawings and facsimiles of Railway Inspectorate accident reports. No jacket.
