Bartholomew's 1900 Touring Atlas and Gazetteer of the British Isles
Available in Stock
The Practical Motorist's Touring Maps and Gazetteer was published by John Bartholomew & Sons between 1897 and 1903. Originally hand-drawn, hand-lettered and printed from copper engraved plates, the maps show roads, railways, canals and settlements as they were 100 years ago, with important features listed in the gazetteer. Created from the original maps, on a slightly enlarged scale, the Touring Atlas is bound in gilt-embossed dark blue linen, with gilt-edged pages and silk marker. Exclusive to Postscript.
