A Victorian Obsession
Available in Stock
The Leighton House Museum in London occupies the house that was built by Frederic Leighton in the mid-1860s and became his 'private palace of art'. The museum was a fitting venue for the exhibition of the outstanding Pérez Simón Collection of Victorian and Edwardian art. The 52 paintings shown and reproduced in this catalogue include works by Alma-Tadema, Burne-Jones, Millais and Leighton, with three introductory essays and notes on each of the 19 artists represented.
