BROWSE
The Browse page displays the main subjects in bold. Some have subdivisions (eg. Art is subdivided into Art, Design and Architecture).
Clicking on the main subject will display all the books available in the subject including the subdivisions.
Clicking on any subdivision will display only titles from that subdivision.

There are four ways to view the books:
  1. Featured Books: This is the default display of a few select titles. The titles are chosen by us as being of particular interest. Some will be new arrivals, some are titles that have proved of lasting popularity.
If there are no featured titles for a particular subject you will be forwarded to the relevant Recent Acquisitions automatically.
  2. New Arrivals: Recently acquired titles appear first. You can alternate between 'Text Only' and 'Show Images'. The 'Text Only' version downloads faster.
  3. Author Listing: Author surname ascending order. For more detailed information about any particular book, click on the title.
  4. Title Listing: Alpha title ascending order. For more detailed information about any particular book, click on the title.
  • Sale: Additionally, some subjects may also have a "sale" option which lists clearance items that are on sale for that particular subject.

  • Bargains: Some subjects may also have a "Bargains" option which lists best bargains available for that particular subject.

    SEARCH
You can search for a title, an author, a publisher, or by using a keyword. Please note that, only part of a title, an author or a publisher is required to perform a search.

For example, a title search for "birds" will return "Rare Birds of Britain and Europe" and any other title where the word "birds" occurs. The same applies for author and publisher searches.

You can also search using the 5 digit code you will find in our printed catalogues as well as for an ISBN. Note that only exact matches for either a code or an ISBN search can be found.

Only the surname is required to perform an Author search. Also, clicking on the Author in the "Book Details" page will bring up a list of other titles available from Postscript by that and similarly named authors.

Click here to close this window and start a search.

    STOCK
We remove titles from our website once they have run out, so that the site represents our current availability as best as possible. It is possible that a particular book has sold out, even though it is published in a recent paper catalogue
