Two ground-breaking projects came together when the Artists for Nature Foundation visited the lowest place in England in 2004 and 2005. Inspired by the Great Fen Project's ambitious programme of lowland habitat restoration, the artists produced work that shows the riches that hang on in the remnants of fenland. This volume presents the results: works by 30 artists in a variety of styles, including field sketches of birds and other animals, detailed botanical and entomological studies and landscapes.
