This book publishes for the first time a 1954 exhibit of photographs of Louis Sullivan buildings directed by Aaron Siskind at the Institute of Design, Chicago. The result is a rare 'visual documentary' of an early modern American architect and the only record of many Sullivan buildings that were subsequently demolished.
